About:Shenzhen Metro Line 4 (Longhua Line)

144 hours visa free period in Shanghai

Hi,
I’m Canadian flying from Colombo to SH and then from SH to Singapore (112h in SH i) with confirmed ticket.

How can I make sure the flights attendants will let me hoard the Colombo flight without a visa ? I’m calling their customer service and they don’t seem to understand the visa free period.
Any tips ?

It is always a waste of time to contact the call centre. The check-in agents know the rules, or they know how to access them through Timatic. When you check-in at the airport, tell the agent that you are in "transit without visa" (use those words) and show them your confirmed onward ticket. If they check on Timatic, make sure they put Singapore as the destination and China as the transit point, otherwise they won't see the transit rules.
