About:China Transit Visa

Transit in China to go to Hong Kong?

Hello,

Can we consider a transit visa for this kind of journey: Singapore -> China -> Hong-Kong?
Regarding links between Mainland and HK I just want to make sure China can be considered as transit in this case.
