About:Exit Regulations of China

Where do I clear customs if I have a connecting flight

I will fly to the US from Shenzhen but I connect through Beijing. Do I clear customs in shenzhen or Beijing?
Do I need to collect my baggage in Beijing and recheck it to the US or will it transfer automatically?

Hi, you need to clear customs in Beijing. If the baggage can transit automatically depends on the air companies and airports. In most cases, you need to collect it and recheck but you are suggested to contact the air company in advance.
