hello. i am planning to go from guangzhou to shanghai by fast train.

Question

However, due to the the longish train ride, I want to stop midway between the Guangzhou and shanghai and stay there for like 3 - 4 days. What is the best city to go to that has the best attractions?

You are suggested to go to Fuzhou City in the half way. There are several attractions, such as Wuyi Mountain, Fujian Tulou, Sanfang Qixiang Old Block and Fuzhou National Forest Park.After touring around, you can take the bullet train to Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station. The duration is around 6.5 hours.Hope helpful!
