About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Flight from New Chitose Airport, transfer at Shanghai PuDong airport, am I allowed to get out

Do I need a visa to enter into Shanghai during my 6hrs transfer? Am meeting a Friend at Shanghai Pudong Airpirt.

If you are doing a international to international 6 hour connection at Shanghai, it's unlikely that you will be allowed to enter China unless you have a visa.
