About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Beijing, Tianjin & Hebei

From Taipei over Beijing to Munich (but no direct flight)

Hi all, I want to fly from Taipei to Munich with a 3 day stay in BJ and want to use the 144h visa free for this. The problem is I have no direct flights, with a stop in Xiamen on the first flight and a stop in Moscow for the second. Is this a problem, because I am not entering BJ directly from Taipei?

If you stop in Xiamen and BJ you must have a visa to stay longer than 24 hours in China. 144 hours does not apply.

You will need to check and see if China puts you through immigration on your transit arrival (Xiamen) or when you reach your intended destination. I would think you wouldn't go through immigration, and therefore apply for the 144 visa, until you actually reach BJ. Good luck.

JJ immigration is done at first point of entry so not eligible for the 144 hour, 2 landings = 24 hour direct transit only

I have to do the immigration even if I transit from the same terminal in Xiamen?

You clear immigration in Xiamen and continue as a domestic passenger. Your case is clear-cut: you must have a visa.
