Malaysia and HK

This one's quite complicated but here goes.
I'm from Britain and have already booked flights to and back from KL, Malaysia.

I would like to spend a few days in Beijing.

If I book KL-HK and then HK-Beijing to Beijing and then Beijing KL direct back; can I do this visa free?

and then fly back to England?
