About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Arriving in Shanghai from Saporro Japan

Hi,

I currently hold a Philippine Passport, and transitting to Shanghai Pudong, and continuing my journey to Singapore where I am a Resident.

I will be arriving in Shanghai at 4:30PM and my flight would be the same day at 12 Midnight.

I just wanted to see the city and Shanghai Tower.

Would I be granted the 24Hour Free Transit?

You won't be allowed into the country without a hotel reservation, and even with a hotel reservation it is still up to immigration's discretion. You should check with your airline and see if they can offer you a free night of hotel first.

Ah, I misread your arrival time. If it's 4:30AM then you will have a shot. 7 hours is too short for immigration which requires 8 hours minimum connection time so leave the airport, plus hotel reservation.
