About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

train travel from Shanghai to Bejing?

The cruise ends in Shanghai. Is it possible to spend two days sightseeing in Shanghai, take the train to Bejing and spend two days in Bejing and then fly back home to San Francisco, CA USA?
