Seaman signing off in China

Hello. I am a seaman to sign off in China. Our vessel will only stay about two days in port. As per agent visa processing will take 7 working days. Can i sign off and stay in the hotel while waiting for my entry permit?

Hi, I think you could sign off and stay in the hotel. You are advised to contact the visa office to confirm that.
