Is it ok if i bring my kids along 2 years old and 5yrs old.. and may i know how to get there from town?One more thing what is the temperature on that time?

You can take a bus to Wumeng Villiage or Xuexiang Villiage and then get off at Laoyakou or hire a private car to get there. It is too dangerous and difficult for 2 young children and the temperature may range from 5C - 15C.
