Do I qualify for 144 Hr Visa Free

Canadian arriving at Shanghai Cruise Terminal (Singapore-Vietnam-Hong Kong-Shanghai) June 3, flying out on June 6 from Shanghai Pudong Airport to Vancouver, Canada but the flight is not direct. June 6th flight is Shanghai-Harbin-Beijing-Vancouver. Do I still qualify for the 144 Free Exception? Or do the Harbin & Beijing connections disqualify me, even though I am not leaving the airport and only connecting?
