About:China Consulate in Houston

Passport expiration is less than 6 months

Hi there,

I am planning a trip to China in early May. But my US passport is going to expire late October. Can I use the current passport to travel to China in May? I have 10-year multiple China visa and it’s still valid.

You are advised to renew your passport before your trip. You can use the old and new passports for travelling, no need to apply for a new visa.
