Taking the ferry to Shekou for HKIA and take the plane 3 days after + Reservation

Hello
Can I take the ferry on Monday from Shekou to HKIA and take a flight 3 days after (I will book a room at the Regal Hotel which is in the airport)?
Do I have to book the ferry for a particular schedule or just for a date without a special hour?
