We are traveling to Bejing May 26-29. Do we need to book a tour in advance or are there many tour options to choose from at that time?Thank you

I kindly suggest you book the tour in advance, since it will be China's peak tourist season in May.  And If you book as early as possible, the tour company can reserve the hotels and scenic spot tickets in advance at that high season.
