From your hotel, you can take bus no.11 to the railway station first. Then take a train to Chaozhou Railway Station. The train takes around half an hour. The ticket fare is soft sleeper is CNY75.5, hard sleeper is CNY68.5 and hard seat is CNY9.5. After arriving, take a taxi to your hotel. The cab fare is around CNY30.
