About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Is Visa required for only Transit ?

I am Malaysian & work in Singapore. Will travel with Air China from SIN-Beijing-Tokyo. In Beijing is only transit, do I need to apply entry permit?

No. Because you can enjoy free transit in Beijing.
