About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

Changing X2 student to Tourist visa

I am coming to Suzhou for a 4-week Chinese language summer school on an X2, however after the course I would like to go to Shanghai for 4 weeks to visit. Would I be able to change my x2 from a student visa to a tourist l from within China? Thank you

It's possible for you to change the X2 into L type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China.
