About:Site Search

Hi. We are traveling from New York to Shanghai ( 4 hour layover)

then traveling to Beijing ( staying 3 nights ) then traveling to Cebu, Philippines . Do we qualify for the 144 hr. Transit visa in Beijing ? I could not find any direct flights from NY to Beijing

I'm afraid you are not eligible for the 144 hour free visa transit since you can only stay either of the two cities for less than 144 hours. I remember there are two direct flights from NY to Beijing, maybe you can check it again.

No, you don't qualify even if you don't plan leaving the Shanghai airport.
