About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

72 hour visa. I’m flying home to the US on 2/24 from DPS to CGK to PEK to IAD.

I have a 12hr layover on 2/25 in Beijing and would like to do a day tour. I want to confirm that I’m eligible for the 72 hour visa.

You will only get 24-hour transit since your layover is shorter than 24 hours. Entry to China under 24-hour TWOV is also at the immigration officer's discretion.
