Visas for 180 days stay (no family members or relatives/no personal matters)
I have my own engineering and construction consultancy company and I exclusively work for an automotive company from Germany. I have worked on many of their factories/facilities all over the world, including their latest investment in China. Not as a direct employee of the Chinese entity, but as an external collaborator.
For my engagement in China (for about 8 months) I used “M” type visas, 2 entries per visa, with 30 days per entry allowance, for my trips to China. I have four of these visas in my current passport.
Now, starting from April 2019, I am being offered the possibility to return to China for another 6 months, for the same type of activities.
For this next project in China I am looking for a way to stay in China for a period of up to 180 days (for the full duration of my project) and also have the possibility to take my fiancée with me for the same period of time. For her it would be the first visit to China.
I have the possibility to get Invitation letters either from the German Company that I will be Consulting for or from friends that I have in China, who are Chinese citizens.
Any idea which Chinese visa type would be the most suitable for both of us for the purposes of the described stay above?
