TWOV valid for travel Guangzhou to Hongkong v.v.

Can I apply for 24 hr. TWOV upon arrival at Baiyun airport and exit to Hongkong. And few days later apply at the border of Hongkong for TWOV to exit China via Baiyun airport?

It is the first time to hear about a double entry TRANSIT visa. What is the difference with a regular double entry visa? Can I get such a visa as a TWOV or VOA?

You have to apply in advance or you need to fly Guangzhou Hong Kong back to Guangzhou. No land crossing
