About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu

Cruise from Shanghai Wusongkou International Port

I'm a US citizen flying into SH 4 nights prior to take a cruise from Wusongkou touring Japan for 7 nights. Then the cruise return back to SH so I can travel back home to the U.S. the same day. Do I qualify for the free 144hr visa? Do I apply for the visa beforehand or when I land?

Yes, you qualify for the 144hr visa. Just apply it when you land at the airport.
