What is your exact route? I don't recall a non-stop flight from Manchester to Shanghai.

Hi Rob, it's Manchester to Zurich, then Zurich to Shanghai, then after 4 nights, Shanghai to Zurich, Zurich to Manchester.

You won't qualify for free transit in Shanghai. You need a visa for that trip.
