countdown time for shanghai layover

Hi! I was wondering about the countdown time for shanghai if you layover. is that starting at midnight or the scheduled arrival and departure? pls let me know thanks

At Midnight on the day after the day of arrival.

Just to clarify, at midnight on the day after the day of arrival for 144 hours TWOV, but scheduled arrival to scheduled departure for 24 hours.

thank you so much for the info. I’m Philippine passport and only allowed to TWOV for 24hrs. and I will have 24hrs exact layover in Shanghai.
