About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit
Indonesian passport transits in Beijing for 7-11 hours
I'm Indonesian will go to Vancouver thru Beijing for 11 hours layover. I'd like to see the Greatwall for that short gap. I read the article above no need transit g application, just ask TWOV 24 hours at the airport. But last month I emailed the Chinese embassy in Jakarta, they order me to apply a transit g for around $40/person. Please help me get the true answer, I don't want to spend $40 for only short sightseeing but I'm afraid cannot enter the city without entry permit Thank you.
