About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Canadian travelling from Toronto to Macao via Taipei...visa requirements?

Canada is an exempt county for Macao and therefore no travel visa is required. I read about the transit exemptions but it doesn’t seem to mention the Taipei airport. Our layover is 3-4 hours; can you confirm that no entry permit is required?

You would enjoy free entry to Taipei. You can contact the Taipei airport to inquire if you need transit visa or not.
