About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

24 hour visa transit

Hi,
It's not clear for me . I am travelling LONDON-SHENZHEN-PHUKET (Thailand). Do I need a Chinas's Visa for this international flight? Gap at Shenzhen airport is only about 3 hours, but information i found and copied below says that 24 hour free transit it's not eligible at Shenzhen airport. What does it means and what should I do? I am European Union Passport holder. Thank you

Under the 24-hour-free transit rule, no visa is required for international flight, ship, or train passengers who transit directly through mainland China and will stay for less than 24 hours. Most airports are eligible, except the airports in Shenzhen, Yanji, Mudanjiang, and Fuzhou. Passengers should hold tickets to a third country or region and have a confirmed seat.

As I know, Shenzhen now has 24h twov as long as your travel itinerary qualifies.
