How do I get a permit to work in China if I am over 60?

I plan to move to China and get a Q-1 as the husband of my Chinese spouse. As a long term resident, can I get a work permit if I want to work there?

In principle, the age limit for male applicants is 18 - 60, and 18 - 55 for female applicants, but the requirements may be more flexible in real practice. So you can try to apply for the work Z type from the visa office.
