I'm traveling to the Philippines and have a connecting flight at HKG. The layover is about 1 and a half hours.I'm going to propose marriage to my girlfriend in the Philippines and I am taking an engagement ring. The ring has about 4-5 grams og gold and some diamonds.Should I declare it?I thought yes but maybe you will know.I am not leaving the Airport.

Generally, if you take a connecting flight, it is not necessary. However, it is better for you to confirm with the customs staff.
