shanghai pudong to hangzhou

Hello,I'm going to Hangzhou (near the West Lake) from Shanghai Pudong on the 29th January and I'm really worried about the Spring Festival Rush. Would you suggest the train or the bus for two ladies with big suitcases? And from which station in Shanghai?Thank you!

Hi, you can take a high speed train from Shanghai Hongqiao Station to Hangzhou. However, you do need to book the tickets now in case of tickets selling out. You can also choose to take a shuttle bus directly from the airport to Hangzhou, It takes about 3 hours to get and the departure times are as follow: 8:40, 9:50, 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00, 15:00,16:00, 16:40, 17:20, 18:00, 19:00, 20:00, 21:00.
