About:Embassy & Consulates of Japan in China

Need some importantinformatio. Please help me

Hello. I'm from Banglades. But currently living in Chengdu, China. I'm a student in Sichuan Universit. I want to apply for Japan visa from Chongqin. May I know what requirements do I need for applying Japan visa? I found some requirements for Chinese citizens but I'm Bangladeshi. So, please tell me which documentsI need to submi?

You need to provide a filled-out application form affixed with passport-style photo, your passport and its photocopy, residence permit in China, studying certificate as well as other required documents.

Bro u also need to attach bookings of return flight & hotel reservations as well along with bank statement of Atleast 2000USD as i know,
Also attatch other documents mentioned above

Hi Rukshat RafaTasmim! This is a long, hope to hear back from you as you had the exact situation as me. I hope you managed to go on you trip 😊.

I’m living Chengdu, studying in Chengdu University and urgently need to apply for Japanese visa for early August. I have the documents all prepared - question is how did your visa application go, if you don’t mind, please run me through the process of sending your docs to Chongqing and how long it took, were you able to communicate in English with the officers.

I am South African.
