Vaccination or health reqirements

Are there any health or vaccination requirements that we should be aware of before a short tourist visit (by Canadians) to China, other than as referenced in Visa application? Thank you!

At present, China has no severe infectious disease, so no specific inoculation like malaria vaccine is needed before heading to the country. As far as I know, only yellow fever vaccination certificates are required from travelers from infected area. You may follow the suggestions of the World Health Organization and consult your own doctor for this matter.
