Heathrow - China - Macau- Hong Kong

I have the chance of going away for 1 week and was wondering if this is doable.

The itinerary would be flying into Shanghai for a connecting flight to Hong Kong, stay in Hong Kong and travel into Shenzhen for a look around and then onto Macau.

The return flight would be Hong Kong to Shanghai for a connecting flight and then back to Heathrow.

Regarding the visa free visit, would I qualify?

Any response would be greatly appreciated as I have never done this before.

You are qualified for the free transit in Shanghai twice. From HK to Shenzhen, you can try to apply for Shenzhen VOA. If it can succeed, you don't need a visa for the itinerary.
