About:Chinese Embassy in Zimbabwe

visa application. I have a Zimbabwean passport

but live in the Uk I want to go watch F1 in April 2019 in Shanghai do I need entry permit. I will be in china for only 5 days.

Yes, you are supposed to apply for a visa for mainland China.
