About:Chinese Clay Figurine Museum

Hello, i would like to know if i need a visa to stay 144 hours in Shanghai ?

I'm Ukrainian and living in Paris, and i will flight from Taipei to Shanghai and then flight back to Taipei, do i need entry permit in this case or is it better to go from Taipei to Hong Kong and then Shanghai and come back to Taipei?

Taipei-Shanghai-Taipei is a visit to China, not a transit, and requires a visa.
Taipei-Hong Kong-Shanghai-Taipei is a transit of mainland China and qualifies for 144 hours transit without visa.
