About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I need return ticket with SEAT NUMBER?

When I enter Beijing coming from Mongolia, I only have the e-ticket confirmation without seat number for the return trip to USA with 3 hours layover in Seoul, does that qualify for the 144 hours free transit?

You just need the e-ticket confirmation. Make sure its showing the ticket number, sometimes it doesn't list it if printed before ticket was issued. Make sure Mongolia to Beijing is by plane as train is not eligible for the 144 hour transit.
