About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Sea departure from Shanghai rather than by air.

Is it possible to apply for a 72 hour transit visa if one is arriving at Shanghai Pudong International Airport at 09.10am on Tuesday 02 February, spending one night at a hotel in Shanghai, and then leaving Shanghai by sea - not by air -on Wednesday 03 February at 08.00pm

Its 144 hours now and you can as long as Shanghai is the only mainland china stop and the next port is not the same country you landed in Shanghai from.
