CHICAGO, USA - BARCELONA, SPAIN - SHANGHAI, CHINA- CHICAGO, USA

I am traveling from the USA to Spain. I will then fly to Shanghai with a 2 hour layover in Abu Dhabi . I will stay in Shanghai for 6 days . Then I will travel back to the USA. Does my trip qualify for the 144hr visa free entry?
