Rat 14 years older than a female snake, wants a serious relationship, any chance?

I am interested in a woman who's 14 younger than me and she has expressed a similar interest in me as well. I am not sure how the age difference can be a factor whether this relationship can succeed or not. I am a male rat and she is a female snake.
I am the older in the relationship and I am sure I want this to last but I am not sure whether she is being serious or just don't want to lose me or break my heart rather than taking me seriously as a long term romantic partner

Hi, you may meet some challenges because of the age difference. However, your love compatibility is good and things may get better later. It's hard to say if she has taken it seriously but you can really know about that gradually.
