Dear Sir/Madam,What is the closest airport to Chengdu?how far is Chengdu from the Stone Forest?I was hoping to see both places late next year, and wonder if the Panda Base is open then. I hope to visit Tokyo after a few days in China.Please reply as soon as possible...Florence, Ireland.

Do you refer to Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding?If yes, you can take a flight from Kunming to Chengdu Shuangliu Airport first.Upon landing, take metro line 10 to Taipingyuan Station and change to metro line 3 to Panda Avenue Station, Exit A. Then take a taxi to the base directly.
