About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ
New York -> Beijing -> Phuket
I have a 22hr layover in Beijing, that is overnight. Would I need a visa if I plan to check in to a hotel in Beijing for the night, then do some sightseeing the following day.
My flight into Beijing arrives at 7pm Thursday. My exit flight is 5pm the following day. US Passport.
