Is a Sagittarius, sheep a match for a cancer sheep?

I have a current love interest but the western and the the Chinese horoscope contradicts each other. He was born November 25,1979 and I was born July 15, 1979. As per my reading, Sagittarius males are not generally attracted to Cancer female and that it will take a lot of work for us to have a lasting relationship but if I look at our compatibility in Chinese horoscope since we both were born on the year of the sheep we are highly compatible, now Im confused and would really appreciate your response

Hi, I think no matter the Chinese or western astrology is just a kind of reference and you don't need to worry too much about that. In fact, the more important thing is that if you can really get along well with each other. Just follow your heart and don't think too highly of these things.
