About:Chinese Embassy in Cyprus

I am a Cypriot citizen and I study in the uk

I am planning to visit my friend in Hong Kong but she told me that we are going to visit mainland china as well. We are going to take a train-metro (I don’t really remember) to mainland china. My point is that my return ticket is from hong kong, is that an issue for my entry permit? Also I am going to stay at my friends house in Hong Kong and I am not going to get a Hotel in mainland china as we will go there for a daytrip. Again is that an issue? Because in the visa requirements you ask for return tickets and hotel reservations! Also maybe I will visit mainland China from Hong Kong more than once (maybe we will do many daytrips in mainland china, I don’t really know) so should I get the multi-entry with 6 months validity? Last but not least is there any issue that I am flying to Hong Kong from the UK than Cyprus?

Thank you in advance!

You can apply for multi-entry visa with 6 months validity, and if you don't have hotel reservation, you need an invitation letter from mainland China for the application. You can fly to HK and from the UK.
