About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Tranisiting through Shanghai from Tokyo heading to Phuket

I’m from the UK, my wife is Japanese. We have an 8hr transfer at Pudong International, how do we get this 72 hr free travel?

There's no 72h twov in Shanghai but you're fine for the 24h transit.

Just follow the "international transfer" signs when you get out of the plane.
