About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hi there, Multiple Cities

I am Australian and I need to visit Beijing and Shanghai within the same week.
Is it possible for me to fly from Taipei > Beijing > HK > Shanghai > Taipei ?
Each trip into Beijing and Shanghai appears to standalone as a transit trip that satisfy the above.

Taipei > Beijing > HK > Shanghai > Taipei will be fine for applying the free transit. No visa will be required.
