About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Cruise & Stay China Feb' 2019

1)We fly from UK to Shanghai (arriving 21st. Feb'.) via Doha.
2) Two nights in Shanghai- board ship on 23rd. Feb'.
3) Arrive Beijing (Tianjin) early morning on 26th. Feb'.
4) Depart Beijing (Tianjin) evening of 27th. Feb'.
5) Cruising South China Sea
6) Arrive Hong Kong on 5th. March
7) Depart Hong Kong on 7th. March for flight to UK
Would the above itinerary meet the 72 or 144 hour free transit?

This would not be eligible for the TWOV due to more than one stop in China. If you are received by a Chinese travel agency in Shanghai on an approved group tour you may be eligible for the 15 day cruise ship visa exemption

Sorry I lied since Shanghai arrival is by plane you need Transit (L) visa prior to leaving the UK

You need to apply for a tourist visa from your nearest visa application centre before you travel. You can easily find the locations, forms and fees online.
