About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72 Hour transit Visa?

Outbound I fly from London and arrive in Beijing at 10:25 on 20th January.
I leave Beijing flying to Hong Kong at 19:30 on 21st January.
So I will be in Beijing for around 32 hours.

I fly from Hong Kong to Kuala Lumpur where I stay until 26th January when I fly from KL to Beijing arriving at 01:15 on 26th January. And leaving to fly to London at 12:10 on 27th January.
So we will be in Beijing for 11 hours.

We will not be travelling to any part of China outside of Beijing on either occasion. All my flights and onward flights are booked.

Can we use the 72 hour free transit and can we obtain this on arrival on both occasions?

You don't need a transit visa. You qualify for 144 hours transit without visa on your first entry, and 24 hours on your second (assuming your passport is from one of the 53 listed countries).
