About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

US citizens with residency in CR seeking Chinese Visa

My husband and I are US citizens with legal residency in CR. We are seeking a visa to travel to China next year for several weeks. If we fill out the application online, can we just bring it to the Embassy during regular business hours? Can we schedule an appointment? Do we need to bring any other documents with us, in addition to our passports and cedula cards?

As I know, you don't have to make an appointment for that. If you apply for tourist L type, you may need to prepare your passport and copy of its data page, the application form, passport-style photo, residence permit in there, round trip air tickets and hotel reservation as well as others. You can contact the embassy to inquire the details.
