About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Over 72 hr, but says "starts from 00:00 the day following the entry date"

arriving guangzhou airport on feb 9 at 0200 leaving at feb 13 1300. Based on above info it seems to work but just want to confirm since it says "based on latest info" . Will this work out? Thanks.

Guangzhou's 72 hours start from 12:01 AM on the day after arrival so it should work.

Thanks for the reply, but gonna book the flight soon. Anyone here who can absolutely confirm that this works? Thanks a lot.

Nobody can absolutely confirm, because the rules can change overnight. For example, Beijing went from "72 hours starting at 00:01 the next day" to "72 hours max" to "144 hours starting at 00:01" over the course of a few months. It seems more likely that Guangzhou will become less restricted by next February, but that's not a guarantee.
